Nspa Beauty And Bathing Rituals

I was lucky enough to receive a membership to Nirvana Spa - UK's best day spa, for my 18th birthday which entitled me to go 3 times a year to take full advantage of all their lovely spa and gym facilities. (all treatments had to be booked and came at a price) I've used my membership to advantage and have gone in the evenings after a busy day at college or work as it is an amazing way to wind down and I always come out feeling totally relaxed. The spa is brilliant and a total luxury, I will spend all evening in massage pools, swimming, having saunas, steam rooms and monsoon showers. Eating the most amazing healthy foods followed by letting my food go down whilst laying on ceramic hot beds, where quite often you'll find me dozing off! On the way out of the spa they have a small shop where they sell many products by a few different brands such as Celestial. However, the brand which I love the most is their own, Nspa.

Nspa products are my absolute favourite! They have the most amazing smell which is so fresh. If you're a jojoba lover like me then you'll definitely love these! As you can see the products do have steps of order in which you can use them but I just picked up the ones which were most appealing to me and regular products which I use. I didn't want to go crazy and plus Tyler was starting to get impatient waiting around for me to choose! Can you believe it that this little lot cost me £14?! and that's not using any sort of discount for membership!
Brightening Detox Scrub - £4.00
Jojoba and White Musk Hand & Nail Cream - £2.00
Deep Cleansing Face Wash - £4.00
Jojoba and White Vanilla Body Butter - £4.00
And the best part is that you now no longer have to be a member of Nirvana Spa to purchase these products. You can now purchase them from the Nirvana website without having to be a member. However, it does come at a slight cost purchasing them from the website as standard delivery is pricey at £6.00 but if you are interested, take a look from the link here - Nirvana Spa - Nspa Bathing Rituals and Nirvana Spa - Nspa Beauty Rituals The products fall under the two pages for beauty and bathing which is self explanatory.
As well as being able to purchase the products from the Nirvana website, you can now purchase them in ASDA's! They might not have a bag as variety but you can still have a hunt for them and try them out! Unfortunately, you cannot purchase the products from the Nspa website.
Picture taken from the Nspa website.
This image is a product of all the Beauty Rituals products which are available, and unfortunately I couldn't find one for the Bathing Rituals. There are so many more products which I cannot wait to go back and purchase to try as they really are one of the best brands I have come across for skin and body care!
All reviews on the products which I have purchased are to follow soon!

Are you going to try out any Nspa products?!

Makebelieve Enhance Highlighter

In this months She Said Beauty Box I received a highlighter from a brand called Makebelieve. Now Makebelieve isn't a brand which I had heard of before so I was quite excited to test out their products. Makebelieve specialize mainly in tanning products. Products which give you that perfect sun-free tan! As well as tanning products Makebelieve also have their own facial enhancer products. These products consist of tinted moisturiser, illuminating concealer, shimmer lipgloss, sunbeam bronzer and the Luminize Skin Highlighter which was what I received in my Beauty Box.
First off, I absolutely love the packaging! Maybe thats because I'm a bit of sucker for some gold?! I didn't realise how creamy the highlighter actually was so when I went to swatch it, it left a great big finger print! The highlighters which I tend to use are powder based, so this highlighter surprised me with it's creamy texture. However, it is really easy to blend in to the skin. I prefer to use my finger to lightly apply and blend in to my skin, but you can use what ever you find easiest and best to apply it.
I applied the highlighter to the inner corner of my eyes and sweeped downwards to give me that bright eyed look. I also applied it to the apples of my cheeks and to the top of my cheek bones. I don't tend to use lots of highlight due to the fact I feel like a Christmas Fairy! But a little bit of glitter never hurt anyone! Teamed with a bronzer this highligher looks great, it has a hint of soft pink to it which means that there is no need to apply blusher, and it can give you a slighly more natural look. If all of Makebelieves products are like their highlighter then I can't wait to try their other products and maybe even indulge in a spot of fake tan?!
The highlighter retails at £7.50 and can be found at:

Have you tried any Makebelieve products?!

Things I Don't Understand About Girls.

I just stumbled across Jenna Marbles video on youtube on her video 'Things I Don't Understand About Girls' and I found that I could relate to a lot of it, as well as finding it really amusing. So I thought I'd share it with all my fellow beauty bloggers who are more than likely to be 'goo hoarders' just like me!
Enjoy!!

Gypsy By Elf.

A while back I discovered Elf and I made a large purchase of many products, which even still I am testing out as my Make Up collection is just growing bigger and bigger! However, one product which I have been loving recently and haven't stopped wearing is the Elf Lipstick in Gypsy.
Elf's packaging is always kept really simple which I love! However, the look of this lipstick can be very deceiving! From the picture, which was taken using natural light, the lipstick appears to be a dark red colour. I can assure you that it isn't!!

I know! I couldn't believe it too! The lipstick actually comes out a rather bright pink! Which I wasn't complaining about! The description on the Elf website said that it was a deep, cool pink. However, it may not be that pink, but still a fantastic colour. The lipstick is highly pigmented, and really did last for hours, which even included drinking lots of water, I found that out of the whole of my day at work which was 11 hours, I only reapplied once!! The lipstick was also really nourishing to my lips as I find that usually lipsticks dry my lips out. However, Elf have added a moisture rich formula to the product, and I am so pleased to say that it works and for £1.50, I don't think you can love a product more!!

Have you tried any of the Elf Lipsticks? Will you be purchasing on?!

This Months Glamour Magazine Featuring Nails Inc.

Glamour Magazine has become one of my monthly reads which I will always buy. It is such an affordable magazine retailing at £2 and it is jam packed with all the latest fashion, beauty, gossip, interiors and advice ranging from health to careers. From time to time Glamour will also have a freebie which they give away and from time to time this will consist of a Nails Inc nail polish!! It's amazing, I know! Especially when the polishes retail at £11, and here they are giving them away for free!!

I chose the colour Elizabeth Street. The polish is a very light pink, almost nude colour, and it does take quite a few coats to get a strong bold colour. As always Nails Inc polishes leave your nails with the perfect shine finish that lasts for a good few days, as this picture was taken 3 days after the application. Personally I think £11 is a bit too pricey to pay for a Nail Varnish, but I love getting them as gifts. I hope Glamour continue to collaborate with Nails Inc!!

Did you get any of this months Nails Inc colours from Glamour Magazine?!

Goodbye Beautiful Nellies, Hello Glitter And Sparkle.

If you follow me on Twitter, you may have seen that I was going through the process of changing my blog. It's something which I've been thinking about for a while now and finally have found some time to think on what I would like. I am no way near a computer genius, and I'm not going to pretend that I understand HTML, cos quite frankly, I don't, and I don't want to as it's too confusing and stressful! I was thinking about doing all the changes ready for the New Year, but Christmas and New Year are always such busy times of the year, that I won't have time to. But what better way than to kickstart the countdown for Christmas?! And yes, I have already begun mine, you can never be too prepared for Christmas!!

I love this quote, it is so true! A lot of girls use blogging as a way to create and express themselves, and I guess I am one of them too. Sadly, Beautiful Nellies has come to an end, the name meant something to me, something which I never shared with you all, and sadly the meaning and story behind the name came to an end. I am in such a happy and positive place that I think it's time to leave it behind where it belongs, I will always hold a place for it and the memories which come with it. Glitter And Sparkle, is a lot more true to me, a lot more girly, and I can't wait to get started!

So without further ado, Glitter And Sparkle's journey has begun, and I can't wait to see you all on it!

Sweet Champagne

I have recently very much become obsessed with Candles, espeically as Christmas is nearing. I like to come home from college or work, light my favourite candles and jump in the bath. I recently picked up a little gem, and I love it and haven't stopped using it!!

I picked up this gorgeous little beauty in Primark for an amazing £3.50!! I couldn't believe it. Only £3.50 for such a gorgeous smelling 3 wick tin candle! Sadly it was the last one there so I wasn't able to pick up anymore as they would make great gifts for people for Christmas. It has an amazing sweet smell like it says on the tin, but it's not over powering. I left it burning for a good few hours in my room and it filled it with a lovely warm scent. If they have these candles in your Primark smell them as I know they have lots of other scents and for £3.50 you can't go wrong!!

Have you seen these candles yet or purchased one?!

MAC Eyebrow Crayon.

This is a long awaited post! A while back I made a few purchases in MAC, it was my first time being in a MAC store other than at a department store and I loved it, I was in my element. A really Make Up Artist gave me a make over which I was over the moon about, and from it I purchased a few products. My one of my now most reached for product has to have come from this visit and its the MAC Eyebrow Crayon in Lingering. The Make Up Artist matched it beautifully to my skin tone and hair colouring.

I've found that I get along really well with the crayon compared to a pencil as I find that an Eyebrow Pencil can leave your eyebrows looking very harsh and defined and with my sort of face I need a much softer look. The crayon allows you to apply the product to your brows and then gradually build them up to how you want them to look, so that if you are the sort of person who suits very defined and bold brows then you can still achieve that look with the crayon. A winner with me is that when the Crayon gets blunt rather than faffing around trying to find a sharpener and a bin to put the sharpenings in etc, you can just twist the crayon and more product pops out!
My brows don't always need lots of attention and I've very lucky in the sense that I can go a week and sometimes longer before I need to pluck them, but when I do want that bit of definition, I always reach for my Eyebrow Crayon. The top picture shows my natural brows without any products. The middle picture shows just the left brow using the Eyebrow Crayon with the right brow still natural. I love how it just fills in my brow a bit more and makes my eyes stand out. Finally, the last and bottom picture shows both brows with the Eyebrow Crayon. Lingering definitely suits my skin tones the best. However, MAC also have five other Eyebrow colours ranging from very fair to dark so that they suit every skin tone. The Eyebrow Crayon also retails at £12.50, but I have to say that it has lasted me a long time!

Have you tried the Eyebrow Crayons? What do you think?!

My First She Said Beauty Box.

After a long hard think about it I finally decided to join a monthly beauty box subscription! The company which I went with was She Said Beauty. I couldn't decide between She Said Beauty and Glossy Box so they only reason I choose She Said Beauty was because it was slightly cheaper than the Glossy Box as the box is £9.00 a month plus £2.95 p & p, so I think it's only about a pound cheaper. However, in time I hope to join the Glossy Box too!
Straight away I am drawn to the colours. I love the fact that the outside packaging is pink, it gives it such a girly feel to it, which is perfect for us beauty mad girly girls! The box is very neatly and nicely packaged with the sticker and pink bow ribbon giving it that extra personal touch to it. Before seeing the productrs inside the box you are greeted with a sort of menu card which tells you what is in your box. This I find interesting as it gives you a discription of the products plus the prices of the full sized products if you wish to purchase them.
This is the contents of the November She Said Beauty Box which I recieved. It was nice to see some full sized products in there and brands which I hadn't heard of such as MakeBelieve. I also like the fact that the products are a mix between beauty, hair care, skin care and fragrance as it gives me lots to try out!

My First Thoughts

1. Yardley Royal English Daisy Eau De Toilette - Yardley isn't a brand that I am all too familiar with and from this sample I don't think I'm going to be running off to purchase something from them any time soon. As the fragrance is called Royal English Daisy I did expect it to smell similar to Marc Jacobs Daisy, which is one of my favourite perfumes. As it happens it smells nothing like it, to me. When I first opened the bottle it smelt slightly like disinfectant, which wasn't plesant. However, the over powering smell does tone itself down after a few minutes wear on the skin, yet it's still not my cup of tea. This fragrance would be perfect for summer, just not these winter months.

2. Redken Smooth Lock Shampoo and Conditioner - I cannot wait to try these shampoo and conditioner samples because 1. they are for dry and unruly hair which is my hair all over due to the bleach and my curls! And 2. the smell reminds me of Terrys Chocolate Orange. What's not to love?!

3. Murrays Manicure - These were a She Said Beauty Treat as a little extra. In this little set comes 15 mini nail files which will be so handy to store in my purse or handbag as I'm always asking if anyone has a nail file and people look at me as if I've just landed on earth!!
4. Makebelieve Enhance Luminize Skin Highlighter - Makebelieve isn't a brand which I had heard of before so it was nice to get something different, plus it's a winner that it's full sized! I love how sleek the packaging is. The highlighters which I use are powder based and this one is very creamy so it will be interesting to see how I get on. Yet when I swatched it it blends in to the skin really well leaving the prefect glitter shimmer behind.

5. Collection 2000 Primed & Ready - I haven't ever tried this primer as I don't tend to purchase much from Collection 2000. However, this is one of the smoothest, silkiest primers I have ever tried and I can't wait to see how well it wears.

6. So...? For Me - I was plesantly surprised with this product as I went off of So...? products a long time ago as I found them to be far too sweet and sickly but I genuienly like this fragrance. It's not overpowering and has hints of musk and floral, which is a perfect combination for this season. Perhaps So...? are going to make a good comeback?!

7. Weleda Wild Rose Smoothing Night Cream - Now Rose is a fragrance which I really cannot stand!! This night cream is also very strong smelling so I'm not sure how I'll get on with it as I like my night time products to be fragrance free and very light.

Has this persuaded you to join a Beauty Box? Or are you already subscribed to one?! Do you prefer GlossyBox or SheSaidBeauty?!

ELF Studio Matte Lip Colour

Recently I made a massive purchase from ELF and went crazy using one of their promotion codes. Amongst my box of goodies was the Studio Matte Lip Colour in Natural.

I had heard many things about the ELF Studio Matte Lip Colours so when placing my order I made sure that I at least picked one up!
I choose the colour Natural because I wanted something which I can wear everyday and this colour is perfect for that! Each day before work I have been applying it so that it gives me just that hint of colour. I've also found the Matte Lip Colour to be very moisturising on my lips which is perfect for this time of year when the cold is really starting to set in. Another big win for me is that when you do have slightly cracked lips it doesn't emphasise them like some lipsticks do. The pencil works really well to blend in to your lips.
Retailing at £3.75 I think I'll definitely have to purchase the other colours in the range!

Have you tried the Matte Lip Colours?
